hi

i hope someone can help me as im new to site. im just starting the process of looking into claiming PPI foe several loans and cards i had and looking for a leeter template to start the ball rolling. would appriciate any guidance in this matter please.

I am not sure that we do have a template for the reclaiming of PPI.

 

What you need to do, is obtain all your statements (if a credit card account) or a copy of the agreement which identifies an upfront premium (if a loan).

 

You will need to send a Subject Access Request (which is a request for all data in respect of your financial relationship with the company) to include £10.00 which is the statutory fee. You will be requiring copies of statements and ALL other data they hold on you.

 

They will have 40 calendar days in which to comply.

 

You would then need to complete one of the spread sheets, which you will find in the link below.

Download and complete the complaint form off the Financial Ombudsman's website and then send the whole lot off to the company with a covering letter, which simply says something like.

 

 

Ref/Account Number

 

Please find enclosed spread sheet and FOS complaint form in respect of PPI incorrectly applied to the above account.
