The BBC report this afternoon that the cost of the funeral, including the costs of security and ceremonial (all the people involved in which are paid for anyway), is £3.6m.

Ah, well - even though that is still a lot, for a funeral, it's a far cry from the 10 million! I thought there would be a lot of trouble trying to justify 10 million for it!

The same funeral in today's terms is half the cost

 

It does not add up until i see the figures released
