Yes i also checked my online banking co-operative on the thursday 22nd august 2013 and noticed £26.34 missing without my permission the bank did not tell me who ? However, checking in my recent items list today i was shocked and angry to read SMILE FINANCE what the hell do they think they are playing at ?

All i had to do next was simply google in smile finance and learn that people are grassing them up big time.... I could not believe it a transaction of £26.34 is obtained from some nasty little backstreet place whom have no business at all using confidential information of mine, i just feel so violated about the blatant audacity towards consumers who in times of severe hardship are struggling and living on the poverty line as it is, i'm planning and building a domestic violence male survivor charity that deals with housing in crisis and are constantly reminded everyday there is no money around and lack of decent employment when the council's are useless resolving it when i work so hard campaigning and petitioning is for beasts to take basic money i fight to live by.

Its not even the amount as much as the principle. I swear i have never ever agreed to pay a loan broker a fee to find me a lender, i'm always concerned when i'm asked to give bank details over the internet if the loan applications have failed credit i am therefore not aware someone wants to take money instead of giving as intended. I need to muck around changing my account now, why are the banks allowing this to happen if i haven't set up a direct debit ? As usual this is one expensive 0845 call to the co-operative bank because i don't know how else to tell the bank, the co-op branches are scattered far out everywhere they are never local. Has anyone on this thread got a refund yet ?

Or just get your bank to do a full chargeback for an unauthorised transaction.

Any advice i give is my own and is based solely on personal experience. If in any doubt about a situation , please contact a certified legal representative or debt counsellor..

If my advice helps you, click the star icon at the bottom of my post and feel free to say thanks

Evening All,

This is the first time that I have posted on a forum (although I like to take advice). I had the same problem with these little poppets, I managed to get my money back within about 30 hours (through the bank). And will get a refund through them as well (no doubt), they are a bunch of (Edit) artists that think they can take what ever they want when ever they want (up to 62 days according to there crap website). They are total ****, some legal loop hole lets them get away with it!!

Bloody idiots! If anyone wants advice or a refund form or copies of the e-mails that I have sent to them then please feel free to e-mail me, (Edit) (I don't know why but the site wouldn't let me). The sooner that these **** bags are stopped the better!! 21st century loan sharking at it's best (or worst).

Bunch of (Edit)

Thanks, Daniel.

Can anyone here tell me how you came across Smile Finance was it through another site or via google or something? I'm trying to see how they are tricking customers into signing up, I believe they are directing people via leads from somewhere else not through their main site and on the page you are redirected to it has no mention of the fee.

I'd never heard of them until I saw that they'd taken money from my bank account. I have used Payday loans in the past, so maybe it was one of those companies which passed my details on?
