i wrote to swift regarding ppi that had been added

to my loan

after 2 weeks i got a letter back to say that i would no get a refund

as they dont sell directly to the public

they say they are not involved with the sale of insurance

i still have the agreement documents to which the insurance

was added to the loan and my monthly payments included

the ppi

they say norton finance were the insurer and to write to them

but as i say the insurance was payed in with my

monthly payments'to swift

any advice or help on this matter would be

very helpful tam

Ok so you should now put your claim to Norton Finance

There are some threads on here about Norton too.

Basically submit a standard claim with Norton and await their response, the usual 8 weeks applies.

The process for making a complaint regarding possible misselling of Ppi is pretty simple with Swift,They are correct in saying that you must direct your complaint towards the broker as they are the ones that set it up,however if you find that they are no longer trading then your complaint must go to the FSCS (Financial Service Compensation Scheme) They will investigate your complaint and award you your premiums back plus 8% interest but only if they uphold your complaint as is the case with any financial organization.
