This is a very good move.

The rules which required payments to be made in 10 installments have never been fair.

This is certainly long overdue, now we need the facility to with hold that element of the council tax that is taken by the local and county council to pay Public Service Workers Pensions, which is substantial, for D band Council Tax on average £380 from each household goes towards these pension payments, and in my opinion is unacceptable

I've been paying over 12 months for years but it's good that everyone will be able to do that now.

You are correct I have always said that we should not be paying their Pension Rights, we have to do our own.

On the downside-it gives them another 2 months in which to go for a liability order for those in arrears and missing payments.

No doubt they will already have rolled up their sleeves in anticipation.

Its good but i like paying over 10 months as it seems like I have 2 months at the start of the year where i have more to spend, if I paid over 12 I wouldnt really notice the saving but it will help those on a tighter budget.

If I have been of any help, please click on my star and let me know, thank you.
