I have lost in total about 200.00 and bank ac is 300.00 od due to charges for missing a direct debit. I initially tried clearing the charges but I was getting 50-60 a month due to ac being od due to them taking charges.

Has anyone had any luck with the co-op and who to write to

Hi Jim,

Have you looked at the BCOB regulations as a way of getting the bank to listen - http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk/redirect.php?x=http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk/forum/content.php?827-Examples-of-unfair-treament

Also, if you have an overdraft, you could look at using The Lending Code in your favour - http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk/forum/content.php?557-Letter-for-an-application-for-consideration-for-hardship

I hope this isn't too late to help with your problems.

:-)
