My son has had a letter from EDF demanding 150.00 or the baliffs are coming 17th December to force entry.

They have not read the meter i over 2 years and just provided estimated bills h

e has being paying them around £40 per month and now this.

I dont know what the correct bill is because it has been left for all this time,

I guess it is partly his fault for not being on the ball.

He is on benefit and cannot pay them anything untill the 26th when his benefit is due.

Don't know what to do when they arrive.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Regards,

Sounds like EDF are willy waving, as IHB said above unless they already have a court order then bailiffs are not just suddenly going to appear.

Who ever heard of someone getting a job at the Jobcentre? The unemployed are sent there as penance for their sins, not to help them find work!

about time he started sending HIS reading via their website then too

dx

please don't hit Quote...just type we know what we said earlier..

DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...
