Hi all,

I've been reading with interest that the Early Redemption Penalties/Charges are also reclaimable and am just about to start a claim for my £1386.18 against the abbey national which dates back to November 2004.

Many thanks to Zoot for publishing some amazing templates.

Hi again,

Can someone confirm the correct address to send the Prelim to,

I've got either of the following which I think is the registered company address

Abbey National plc.

Abbey National House,

2 Triton Square,

Regent's Place,

London,

NW1 3AN,

United Kingdom

Or

Mortgage Appeals Officer,

Abbey,

Abbey House,

201 Grafton Gate East,

Central Milton Keynes,

MK9 1AN.

Vileda

Abbey address

ACCOUNT NUMBER: XXXX

Request for repayment of charges

Dear Sir/Madam

My request

I am writing to ask you to refund £1,386.18 in respect of a redemption fee. I now understand that such fees are unlawful at Common Law, Statute and recent consumer Regulations.

Thanks.

Hi Vileda,

Welcome and good luck!

Initially, I sent it to Triton Place, but it took an age to be sent up to Compliance in Milton Keynes and then onto Complaints.

If you want to bypass all this, i'd send it to:

Marc Winder

Head Of Complaints

Abbey

P.O. Box 5129

MILTON KEYNES

MK9 2YN

From there, it should get allocated quickly.

All the best :D

Thanks for that,

I think I'll send it to either the Triton Square address or my local branch as I don't think that you can send mail recorded delivery to a PO box.

Thanks again
