Im really confused. Both myself and hubby have debts with LTSB. These comprise of 2 x loans for hubs and a cc and loan for me.

We hit hard times about 3 years ago - not had a great time of it trying to keep everything going. We had been paying token payments to LTSB until late last year. Im trying to get things straight and find a way forward with both LTSB debts and all our others and started by checking our CRA files for outstanding debts. All of above LTSB debts show as settled. EH!!!!! Why would they be showing as settled when clearly they arent.

Any ideas anyone please.

Hi, I guess what has happened is that Lloyds have sold

the debts, therefore your CRA files shows that Lloyds have

been paid by a debt purchase company.

You can expect a debt collection agency to contact you in

the near future to tell you that they now own the debts.

Please keep a carefull note of the default dates and settled

dates that show on the entries.

Let us know when you receive the notices of assignment from

LLoyds and or the debt collection agency.

Any Letters I Draft are N0T approved by CAG and no personal liability is accepted.

Ooooh Brigs thanks for your reply. Ive checked again today and My loan and CC debt isnt showing on either CRA at all - nothing...nada!!

Hubbies 2 x loans are included showing as settled, no default dates though -

I think you may be spot on with the selling them on, it did cross my mind so lets wait and see who crawls out from under their stones.

Thanks again mate
