Becareful,

I ignored the debt as i couldn't come to any arrangement with them over the phone. They are very rude and unhelpful.

They took money from my account for late payment fees. This wasn't even took off the balance i owed. It has now been passed to Mt-collect. I've had more then ten calls a day.

I have been threatened, swore at and called names..

I have reported them to financial ombustman

Even if you have cancelled your bank card or even closed your account they can still take money from you..

Hi Nikki

I am going to move your post from the end of an existing thread to one of its own as MT Collect need publicising so that people become aware of their UNLAWFUL behaviour.

Report them to Trading standards and the OFT. If possible, record their rantings. You DO NOT have to tell them you are doing so.

If you are asked to deal with any matter via private message, PLEASE report it.

Everything I say is opinion only. If you are unsure on any comment made, you should see a qualified solicitor

I remember advising Nikki to go to the BCCA back in Oct! this method has and did work for a number of users. Seriously? Even if you have cancelled your bank card or even closed your account they can still take money from you..more like if you have applied for another loan, lets not forget CFO are probably under a lot of other lender names. If funds are taken from a closed account then you need the FOS for the bank

Happy to share my experience but for your own protection, please check and double check what myself and other Caggers inform

Meant to add. I have reported this to the office of fair trading as they are breaching their licence by taking payments. without advising me of the date and amount first.

I have Spoken to the fos and they have said my bank isn't doing anythng wrong by authorsing the payments to the payday lender.

As i have had a vaild relationship with them in the past and i signed an agreement.

If you hand in a letter to your bank instructing them not to pay a company, they have to comply with your written instructions.
