Hi all,

I would appreciate your advice.

I registered online for a course (i am a dentist). I did not pay a deposit or give any bank details, but requested the invoice be sent to me. I received the invoice by email. To be honest, I wasn't sure that I wanted to go on the course, I only registered because I wasnt asked for payment, and thought I therefore could think about it. Obviously, once i had paid something, i would have felt bound to go. I didnt read the T&C on the website (which in retrospect i did tick when i registered), which says you cant cancel (have to pay x% of course fees).

I was contacted a few weeks ago by email regarding request for payment. I was pretty busy at the time, and didnt reply or really think about it (had a lot on my mind). A few days ago they contacted me again for payment. I replied saying i didnt wish to attend and they said I was eligible for the full course fee (£500).

They have my name, professional registration number (accessible on the internet), home address and email address.

Am i obliged to pay this invoice? Given that no deposit was paid - is this a binding contract?
