if i were interviewing you i would simply say - if you didn't understand it why did you sign it?

I know what you mean and I would do the same but saying that I did sign IT policy. In there, amongst many, a point for call outs if something is broken. "X accepts call-outs on number 020 xxx yyyy Monday to Friday between 9 and 18. Outside of those times please call 07xxxxxxxxx. All calls need to be logged in DM book and if further action is needed e-mail sent to appropriate manager."

I signed as for me it was clear office hours land line outside of office hours mobile.

Well about 18 months later I ended up in trouble as mobile no is only for emergency (what is emergency is nowhere mentioned but that is beyond the point here). Now where does it say emergency only?

Now I signed training sheet confirming I got it as to my belief I got it, boy was I wrong.

Ok ET form filled in last week and I received confirmation of it being accepted, I was issued claim number and copy was sent to respondents. They have 28 days to jerk me around now.

However I want to sort out my reference ASAP if possible. Any ideas if it is fine to send them a letter from me asking to change what they put in reference from dismissal to mutual agreement or at least under dispute by ET?

You know a cease and desist kind off letter by prepared by me? I would go to solicitor but as JSA is a joke it has been over 2 months I have not yet got a decision in regards of my benefit claim.

As an FYI I won few battles there and also I won the war! Bit of time passed since then they still stick to what was decided regarding reference.

Also in my case one door shuts another door opens worked this time.
