Benefit Amnesty

This might seem very radical, but the HMRC have been holding an Amnesty for high income earners

for sometime. They've targeted health professionals etc. A lot of people get into a pickle for many different reasons. A lot of people are more then willing to pay the money back. It seems a logical

step, rather then spending millions to chase people that people pay the monies back in a cost effect way. I'm not aware what the cost v benefit ratio is, but the costs must be considerable, maybe it wipes out any benefit to the country.

No doubt they would expect fixed penalties and interest.
