Hi Nigel. .

I believe you. As it was a fast track case because the amount was over £5000.

A lot of claims are under the £5000 and with the amount of people on here claiming,it's quite clear that the system will reach overload soon.

Good job. Have fun with the money.

Hi i would be interested to see what you are going to do with the mortgage side of your claim, i am doing the same with woolwich mortgage and as you know we can claim 12yrs back not the normal 6yrs. i have arrears charges and alot of interest put on mine as far as i can see there is no erc charge, but i want to know how much interest i can claim on the amount they owe me? is it 8%? can you tell me what you are doing with your claim please- and by the way well done for your first BIG victory outlined above. cheers LES

Marquez:

1) There's no need for that kind of language to another user, so please don't do that.

2) OP actually said he got money after filing claim, and in Halifax's case, it's not that uncommon, they've been one of the quickest to cave in once they get sued. Yes, 3 days after filing is pretty quick, but no, its not exceptional. Now, if it had been Barclays, I would have had my doubts!!! lol

i still don't believe you got it that quickly, you may have had it quick, but don't try skipping postal times etc in your claims, and before you say it's my problem, its not, its your problem because you've come on here to tell us "your story" and you're credibility is being questioned, so there ;)

 Read it again.you question postal times.deemed served to them on the 8th,so they might of got it on the 7th as the court sent it to them on the 6th.I have a letter from the Halifax dated the 8th. that arrived on the 9th to my house saying they were paying me in full.On the 10th I checked my account and it had been put in by electronic transfer. What postal times problem.Your the only one questioning it.And if any moderator wishes to question my credabilty he can ask me for the proof of this.I have been in telephone conversation with bankfodder over my claim. He doesn't have a problem,if I had a scanner I'd show you the paperwork. As I said my two other claims for £400 each from my Visa's are taking longer stupid really.best of luck.My cards are on the table in my signature.my other thread nigel1804 is six pages long.

Marquez I think this ties in exactly with many peoples claims with the Halifax.

In the absence of a weekend it is a real possibility to have the money 2 days after (They did it with me too)

I must be telling porkies too then, as my claim was served, acknowledged & all funds available in the account within *two* days - in fact it may have been in the account on the 12th (day of serving), but I couldn't say as I didn't even think to start checking until the day after the claim was deemed served.

Marquez, you're *way* off here and probably owe someone an apology.
