Moorcroft another letter???

Hi

 

i have an account for Argos which is being run by Moorcroft because i refused to pay for rediculous charges on the account let alone the 29.9apr.

 

Wrote first letter saying they owed me a sum and could they refund it to me (standard first letter)

 

They have replied saying that please refer to your terms and conditions for details of late payment charges and administration charges. These terms are legally binding and a contract that you willingly entered into. Breach of contract may result in charges and as a consumer you have declared that you have read, understood and accepted these terms.

Anyone know of a reply before i take them to court,

I would just proceed to the Letter Before Action.

You might want to remind them that their T&Cs do not supersede the Common Law, but that you are quite happy to put this to the test in front of a judge!
