Arriva's Missing Buses

Yesterday i left my brothers to catch a bus into town with my daughter and my dog. I always leave at 12.30pm so i can catch a bus which only runs once every hour on a sunday. I arrived at the bus stop by 12.35pm and the bus was due at 12.45pm.

 

No bus arrived and by 1pm i was so sick of waiting i walked half a mile onto the main road to catch another bus. I had to wait another 20 minutes for that to arrive and i missed the bus that i use to go to my mum's so i had to wait another 30 minutes for a bus to get there. So i spent a total of 1 hour and 15 minutes cos of there bus not turning up.

 

The thing is everytime i complain to Arriva about missing buses they fob me off and only give me travel vouchers which are no good to me as i usually buy a weekly bus pass.

 

Is there any way i can do better?

I think there's a bus users' council that you can complain to about Arriva.

I have found the Bus Appeals Body but it's not really what i am looking for. Thanks for your help though.

The Bus Appeals Body will take on your complaint on your behalf with the operator concerned. What, exactly, is it that you are looking for?
