Quick Quid - Consumer Credit Licence **

Ok so i've been having a look at these payday loan companies, and quickly noticed that QuickQuid doesn't advertise a Consumer Credit Licence Number.

 

- Are they excempt from holding one as they are an american company?, yet they clearly advertise a UK address.

 

- If they do need a credit licence - do they have to display it?

 

- If they dont have one - does that mean current agreements are unenforcable?

 

This was just an observation i made on the website, and i know very little about the consumer credit act, and licensing etc (except what i learnt from CAG to get me out the c**p).

 

I hope this is of some help to anyone, or if some can elaborate.
