Long story but I will bulletpoint it

TV went wrong within first year- phoned for repair

Engineer saw issue and sent it for a service repair

21 days - nothing. (Still waiting Sir)

On the 24th day, we cant find anything wrong with is BUT we are replacing two parts, Sir. (?!?!)

25 - It will be repaired today.

27 - Sorry. It will be repaired today.

28 days - Sorry. It will be repaired today. We have got the parts.

Today is 31 days and I've been told - Sorry Sir, they part has now been recieved and will be repaired within 2 days.

Lies, spin and more lies.

I've quoted SoGA to say that it has now passed reasonable amount of time and each time, they have refused to replace it or give me a date to expect my TV back. 33-35 days is surely too long.

I have been instore, wrote to them, phoned and emailed.

All i want is a TV.

Any advice please?

Yes. Send a letter giving them 7 days or you will refuse to accept the TV even if it is repaired and you will sue for the price of a new one.

Do not bother to do this if you are just bluffing.

In theory, you would only be able to sue them for the price of a similar used one - but go for the replacement price and see what happens.

Thanks for getting back to me.

On what grounds can I sue?

Is there any template letter available here?
