Hi folks

I am currently on a DMP (debt managemant plan), set up by the CCCS. I would dearly love to chase HSBC for bank charges, especially as they charged me over £400 in six months because they refused to cancel the DD for my loan payment, despite my asking (by phone, letter & email) on multiple occaisions, even though they knew that there would be no money in the account and I was making pro-rata payments via the CCCS.

However, I am concerned that if I do this they will take further action against my arrears. I know they could get a CCCJ against me, but it would be highly unlikey they could get a bigger monthly payment as I working to a very tight budget, created in patnership with the CCCS.

If anybody has been a similar postition and has successfully claimed back charges or has tried and found ot just made their position worse I would really like to hear how things went.
