Hi, can anyone tell me if the value of the charges have to be greater than the reason for the return of direct debits, standing orders or cheques. For example, if a direct debit for £140 is returned and the bank charges £30 for there not being enough funds in the account, can you still claim for that charge?

Many thanks.

Jim

I have read the FAQ's but they are not clear on this perticular question. That is why I am seeking this advice to help me be clear in what I am claiming for.

Many thanks

Jim.

If you had read the FAQs, you would have found and posted your unique FAQ reference number.

The answer is perfectly clear from the FAQs.
