Push off you. None of that on here please. Went for a walk yesterday (really lovely weather- blue skies warm sunshine.) It was fab. No-one to be seen, all in watching stupid football. Looking forward to the peace and quiet caused by the stupid Olympics though, I will be able to move without loads of holidaymakers and hopefully not so many snipers about on eBay!

Stupid stupid Olympics. Stupid football.

Bah humbug!!!!!!!

Sports are for taking part in, not for TV.

So dumping the Olympics is good.

Carrying a burning torch all over the place is just a fire risk, and surely must contribute to all this global warming the same types go on about.

Atos sponsoring events for disabled people is like the makers of zyklon-b sponsoring breath holding competitions.

Stuff tennis too (or has that passed) as its just rich kids socialising.

We could have excluded all the queenie stuff too - as marrying your second cousin, acting as if its normal, and expecting their breeding to produce normal young is just a bit freaky too!

Although i guess the kids look more normal than the bigotry, nepotism, sexism, and hoards of sycophantic genuflecting hangers-on who follow unquestioningly.

Would football be watchable if it was like this?

I hate football.

I hate the olympics.

the reasons are... infinite.

Am I alone?

If so, well thats how it is, and I can stay in here alone.

If you agree with me, this a lovely place to reside where no-one will mention anything related to these topics :-D

Football! 22 effeminate men kicking a bag of wind about!

Indeed.

That's all it is, sport.

And for some, a few moments of glory has come at a very high price indeed.

It's weird. If you are a lawyer or doctor or architect or similar, ie academic, society views you as important and pays you well. If you a lowly carpenter or bricklayer or a nurse- (the list goes on) and have a physical skill, you are not worth much at all.

Except if you can ride a bike. Or throw a ball. Or row a boat. Ok, these people are gifted, but why all the fuss?

Look at the other stuff that has been going on in the world this past week.

Is the Olympics just a big bucket of sand?
