My mums doing the race for life in Derby on the 10th May 2008.

She's doing it in memory of a friend who died from cancer lastyear and is really unfit but determined to reach the finish line.

Oh I'm really sorry but I'm totally skint (I am, honest). But best of luck to your mum (and everyone else participating). Cancer is something close to my heart (not literally - brother had cancer when a baby) and I truly hope she does well. Put that link in your signature! (it's going in mine!)

Wow @ the London marathon and well done to your wife:) Mum will probably crawl past the finish line but she's excited and determined and is running from the heart and that's what I keep telling her counts.

My mum had bowel cancer when she was 52. She's now 72 and very healthy. Living proof that the money spent on research actually works:)

So glad its going well. I'm really sorry that I can't donate anything (even had to stop my usual (small) donations to CHICS (childrens Cancer Research Fund) who looked after my brother and family when he was diagnosed. Hope she gets lots more.
