I dont usually post on here although I have been reading info and getting advice from the site in general for a while and I think you are all great support.

I just wondered wbout the meets you have. Is it generally just for a drink and chat or do you actually have group meets were you actually get involved in each others problems (ie:- debt problems, - no one on earth can sort out my age, weight, figure, relationship,family, work or health problems!!!)

I think the site is great and I know that people are able to remain annon on here and so its easier to talk about how deeply in debt you are but sometimes I think it would be great to put a letter literally into someones hand and ask for help.

The CAG meets are a purely social thing for people who have forged on-line friendships to meet up and have a drink, a laugh and put faces to names. I am sure there is some shop talk that goes on but knowing the usual suspects that attend then any form of coherent communication by the end of the evening would be a miracle!

 

If you have any problems that you want help with there is always someone on line who will be willing to help and advise if at all possible.

Posting a letter on the site is as good as placing it in the hands of hundreds of people who are willing to help!
