  1. warrentuff my apologies . didn't realise you had started a thread.
  2. warrentuff , you need to start your own thread so everyone can see your questions. only people watching this thread will see. start your own thread and explain where you are up to. i.e. have you done a spreadsheet , have you read the FAQ's and step by step guide. take your time mate , start your own thread and ask away and you will get loads of help believe me.
  3. what date did you file your claim with MCOL.
  4. just a quick question , you say you have lost the original statements but didn't state wether you had copies. if you have copies they are fine so proceed with next step. sorry my fault.
  5. it probably won't get to court but if it does you are going to need those statements otherwise how can you prove you were charged what you claim. i would request the statements again from barclays even if it costs you a tenner , best to be safe than sorry. the bank also need to see the statements to verify that your spreadsheet tallies with the amount you were charged. it is daunting at first but it gets easier believe me , but if you follow the instructions and advice on this site you will get your money back. if i could do it anyone can. good luck;)
  6. hey torigirl good news . i won the lottery last night. now the bad news. i got four numbers up and won 41 quid. i have also made about £200 helping people in work reclaim their money. just think 2 more numbers and you might have had a new car . oh well euro millions on friday. hows your claim coming along.
  7. and another one. well done notfullyskintedanymore. lol.
  8. they probably make more profit in an hour than they pay back peoples charges in a week. the figures are frightfully staggering , and we mugs are paying that. well mugs no more.
  9. they have 33 days in total. 5 for it to be served. 14 to acknowledge. 14 to file a defence. taking them to the 21st .
  10. you may as well wait for the AQ because they will defend.
  11. this is the link that takes you to the court bundle where you need to open the file http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk/forum/bank-templates-library/33060-basic-court-bundle.html i used the new draft order for directions , have a good read before you decide which one to use
  12. you need to read this thread. http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk/forum/bank-templates-library/11644-allocation-questionnaires-guide-completion.html also you need the court bundle , i'll post you the link when i find it.
  13. ha ha no chance of that mate , you will be paid out. probably next week is my guess.
  14. i see where you have got mixed up. your charges come to £1510 and you can claim 8% statutary interest under section 69 of the county court act. you can also claim a daily rate of interest which is the figure you get when you multiply your charges by 0.00022 which comes to 0.33 a day in your case from the start of your claim or the date you submit your n1. this is what you should have stated in your particulars of claim. could you post your particulars just to clarify what you have stated.
  15. i don't think you can add the interest on to your charges to get your daily rate of interest. i think you should have charges + 8% interest under s69. you can then claim daily interest from the day you served your claim which is 0.00022 times your charges (£1510) which comes to 0.33 per day. i hope thats right , maybe someone could clarify it better.
  16. ha ha no problems mate . i have got a yamaha acoustic , i bought it for a tenner of a mate in work cos his lad couldn't be bothered with it.it's in mint condition. i'm pretty nifty on me chords and can run up and down a few scales , but i went to watch my brothers band on friday and ggrrrr was i jealous.only cos he's been playing 25 years though , and he's got an ibanez. right back to barclays. don't worry too much just follow the instructions on here and you will be ok.(that's rich coming from me , i panicked every step of the way but i beat the b******s). good luck.
  17. hey KA after winning over 4 grand i'm looking to get meself a gibson s.g. problem is i'm still crap after 6 months of learning.lol
  18. KA , all it is now is a waiting game. i started mine in october for over 4 thousand and they paid up exactly six months later, you will get your money.
  19. thats about it. send it in and wait for the judges direction. mine went in on jan 17th and got a court date for april 16th ,so yours will probably be around july. barclays never complied with the directions and i won by default. don't worry you will get there eventually.
  20. blimey that is some POC , how will you fit it in . lol only joking mate , are you a lawyer or something. get it in you will walk all over the knumbskulls.
  21. i would hit them with everything , i.e. schedule plus interest . let them know exactly how much you want off them.if it's going to court;) they need to know how much you are claiming in total for when they pay up.
  22. all it is , is a waiting game. as long as you don't back down you will get your money.
  23. good grief it took me 6 months of hell lol. well done , looks like they are coming round.
  24. i would request judgement , there is a form you can download but i can't remember the damn number.i'll have a look see if i can find it. i phoned the court first to confirm that i could request judgement.
