  1. is that all the interest is....well count me in!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  2. thanks fkofilee - I just hope more people who got themselves in a fix with these sharks take action too - seems FOS is leaning more in favour of the irrisponsible leanding issue - one good thing to add to this, all the PDL's I have taken to FOS and won, means I can't ever go back to them
  3. Took my complaint to FOS for irrisponsible lending after Fancyapayday rejected my complaint - FOS upheld my complaint - removal of 5 out oof 8 laons from my credit file, refund of all loan fees, charges etc plus refund of the £700 they took from my account using a CPA. So thats around £1500 refund fancy will probably escalate to the ombudsman, lets see what their next move is
  4. you should visit my local lidl ..a bit like being on a london tube during rush hour
  5. googling it though does show some posts which suggest new diesel oil will go black almost immdiately due to deposits in the engine
  6. ah ok...so they are trying to get you to pay for an alignment then. typical ploy by them, ...i don't know much about diesels but I am certain the oil shouldn't be soot black
  7. yep agreed, start getting scans of your bank statements showing payments in and out to the various lenders ready to email over, you may also want to get ready copies of your credit files - make sure you open all of the debtors information up on the CRA site - you an print screen and save to a word doc - this would be helpful to show the debts you had at the time, i'm with noddle and clearscore, both free and equifax
  8. i think the doctors report is because you were probably over the 75mg reading - anything over this is to ensure that you havent been a serious heavy drinker
  9. Kwik Fit are well know for their underhand tactics. i took a car in their once for a free mot given with my insurance - they failed it - on stuff they could fix like brake pads needed changing front suspension was knackered - took it to an mot place i new the next day and it passed - nothing wrong! - if the wheel alignment was not scheduled as part of the service then they should have sought your agreement before carrying it out, as they did not then they have no right in charging you for it - if the oil was changed then it should all be a lovely golden syrup colour, so easy to check - might also be worth checking to see if they changed the air filter, this is also easy to do - how does the car drive now? if you let the car steer itself when moving does it veer to the left, if i remember correctly it should but not severley
  10. so although I agree it seems like a meaningless letter - should I contact them via email making them aware of my dispute with this debt? then hopefully they'll just go away
  11. got a letter from westcot - they are chasing my debt for an aqua card - they state on their letter that i have to pay in 10 days but dont say what will happen if i dont - seems like they are fishing? also i have a complaint registered with fos at the moment for the aqua card - does that affect them chasing me in any way?
  12. My point is that they share the same address and same mother company. That means that in all likelyhood that they sahre the same telesales, customer service, complaints teams and toilets.....so when you opened up your complaint with QQ their dumb complaints team (or could be intelligent as they pre-empted your other complaint) decided to respond for both accounts. Whats more concerning here is that they share the same data on their debtors so really should have a far better view of your borrowing then say seperate companies.
  13. Pounds to Pocket is the trading name of CashEuroNetUK, LLC and so is QQ - both owned by the same parent company - which in this case makes your case even stronger as they were both lending to you at the same time - very interesting
  14. the person dealing with my complaints at FOS - i have several complaints with them and seem to have one person dealing with most of them - has been great and easy to talk with
  15. Why do car insurance firms increase policy premiums for people with poor credit history? I just went online to check out my renewal costs on go compare - my new premium would be £520 - thats with 9 years no claims and 1 accident So I entered exactly the same details again and the only detail I changed was the name of the driver (made up a name) the address, car, annual mileage etc all stayed the same and the new quote came in at £380 As a previous discussion I had with an insurance firm the person stated that they only do a CRA check to confirm your details - but its quite clear they are using a poor credit rating to up the costs
  16. its not just the poor people, my better half and I have a good income but due to high rents, travel costs we are left with very little at the end of each month and cannot save anything substantial enough to save for a deposit - I'll never own my own home!
  17. Flikofee will know more but I think you will be limited to 6 years - 82 consecutive months, they really are stupid if they think they are going to get away with this. I would think that opening a case up with for for irresponsible lending would best , probably steering clear off unafordable lending/borrowing as you paid the loans back.
  18. Are they seriously suggesting that they could see nothing wrong with reloan after reloan - sit tight it will be a long painful process with FOS on this one as lots of info to go through - in the end I should think you will get the loan fees back
  19. I shall def be making a donation to CAG when the money comes in - I suspect 247 will want to escalate this with the Ombudsman
  20. I took out 16 loans with 247Moneybox over an 18month period starting back in 2011. All but one successully paid back, the last loan I defaulted on. Usual story, started out with 1 PDL then had to take out a new loan at the end of the month to cover shortfall then another loan with other PDL companies. So I complained to 247 re the amount of loans provided and asked that all loan fees etc be refunded and the default loan to be cleared using monies from the refund. They said nope, we were responsible lenders etc etc. So off to FOS and FOS have upheld my complaint so am now expecting something like £1k of refunds after deduction of defaulted loan, plus all data for the loans removed from my credit files.
  21. blimey thats a heck of a story...deff worth a complaint to them, ther'll probably fob you off then onto FOS....can you not check you bank details to see when loan payments were made in and taken back that way you'll get a clear view as to what you paid in loan fees etc - even if you dont have/use that bank account any more its worth phoning them to get copies of your statements for those years - i had a similar issue with PDLs I took out and my old bank sent me all the statements FOC
  22. most companies will not provide references of any kind these days - if they do all it should have on it is - he was employed for this role, he started on 01/01/2010 his employment ended 01/01/2015 - he had this many sick days - just the basic stuff - they certainly should not be saying stuff like he was lazy, couldnt do his job etc etc. I think that if he explains the issue he had with his termination date with his old employer to his new employer that they will be anderstanding about it.
  23. A claim is only made on your insurance only if your insurance company notifies you or advises you it will then it's your choice to accept or not
  24. personally I would speak to your own insurers, if you have the reg number for the offender then typically they will chase that person down....they would summise that you wouldnt be able to pluck the reg number out of thin air and it would be down to the offender to prove otherwise
