PDL & Gambling - Loans In GF & My Names...
neil6534 replied to ml1973's topic in General Debt Issues
I am aware that it is possible to transfer a credit card or was possible in the past if a person could show that they had or were currently making the payments -
PDL & Gambling - Loans In GF & My Names...
neil6534 replied to ml1973's topic in General Debt Issues
others may offer better advice as i'm not 100% certain it is possible but, your gf could quite simply ask them to transfer the debts to you advising them that you will now be handling all payments on them, you'll have to write/sign the letter showing your agreement -
PDL & Gambling - Loans In GF & My Names...

you will have to get your gf to get the loans transferred to your name - be careful on how you go about it as if they find out you committed fraud they will take action against you. -
landlord making a claim against me
neil6534 replied to Sweduk's topic in Residential and Commercial lettings/Freehold issues
Its a bit late in the day for him to be making any claims - he should have done that much sooner - dispute his claim - get him to provide proof - he'll need photos - he'll also need reciepts for the individual work done -The tenant has a duty of care to return the property at the end of the tenancy in the same condition, Fair Wear and Tear excepted, as that recorded on the Inventory at the start of the Tenancy. You will need to send proof of yuor receipt for cleaning carried out. He will also need to provide any proff of cleaning carried out prior to you moving in. -

Hi I keep getting emails from MMile for an old PDL I had. I can't remember when I took out this particular loan it would have been pre May 2014 - I am almost certain that I took other loans with PTPD. The emails are as follows; OUR REFERENCE: ORIGINAL CREDITOR: Pounds Till Pday Dear Mr This is a further communication in relation to the above as you have not responded to our previous attempts to communicate with you. Despite our offer of help you have not contacted us. It is vital that we speak to you - there is a solution available but in order to conclude this matter we need to understand your circumstances. We are a specialist team of agents who can genuinely assist you. Please act immediately. You can contact us on 0113 887 6876 or email us at customerservice@mmile.com. Alternatively you can visit our website www.mmile.com. Our opening hours are Monday to Thursday 8am to 8pm, Friday 8am to 6pm and Saturday 9am to 2pm. Our registered office is Protection House, 83 Bradford Road, Leeds LS28 6AT. http://www.mmile.com There is no mention of any PTDP account number, when the loan was taken etc - I had a previous email from mmile back in may 2014 advising they would arange an agent to visit my house - i sent them this email; Furthermore, should it be your intention to arrange a “doorstep call”, please be advised that under OFT rules, you can only visit me at my home if you make an appointment and I have no wish to make such an appointment with you. There is only an implied license under English Common Law for people to be able to visit me on my property without express permission; the postman and people asking for directions etc. Therefore take note that I revoke license under Common Law for you, or your representatives to visit me at my property and, if you do so, you will be committing an act of trespass and you will be liable to damages for a tort of trespass and action will be taken, including but not limited to, police attendance". The thing is MMile seem to have a lot of dealings with SB debts - this PTPD loan could also be SBDo I just ignore them or send them a prove it letter?

Welcome FinanceLoan - Pre-legal assessment from Lowells **DROPPED**
neil6534 replied to neil6534's topic in Welcome Finance
Hi, no PPI on the loans - If my memory serves me well the first loan was taken out early in 2010 - defaulted on this later that year and a new loan was made in 2011 which I subsequently defaulted on later that year - haven't had much in the way of letters from them until recently from Lowell as have moved around a bit.- 23 replies

This weekend I got the attached letter from Lowells a Welcome Finance debt I have. Took out the original loan I think in 2010 then had problems paying and eventually went back to their offices and signed a new agreement which I subsequently defaulted on. I think the original loan was for around £1500 the debt now stands at £2900. I don't want to wait for court papers to come through my door, what can I do? wlcm1.pdf

i think i read somewhere that FOS will charge PDE £500 if FOS deal with my complaint - if this is correct???? would it be worth reminding PDE of this as I would still owe them £500 and am happy to make an arrangement to pay it off providing they remove it from my credit files
-
yep - i have decided to thank them for their response and emailed them asking for confirmation f a few things, like if i did state my monthly take home was that much then it would have shown on my credit files, and why on earth would i want a payday loan if i earnerd that much - and given them 3 days as theyve already had 10 weeks
-
now that I know this was for a first direct bank account I had, heres another part to the story - the current balance is £1240 owing - at the time i had a £1k overdraft facility - i also had payday loans - one of these PDLS - Fancyapayday used a CPA to try an take £1300 out of my account in one day - they only successfully got £750 which they have now been told by FOS to refund me - they took £750 took me over my limit by £250 - surely the bank should have let this happen, at the time i did try and stop the CPA but the bank said they could do nothing - with some of the refunds from my successes with fos i want to clear this debt am hoping to get it reduced a little - what arguments could i use?

Payday Loans Yes Loans/Liquid Advance
neil6534 replied to Mr Wits's topic in PayDay loans and Short Term loans - General
How are you getting on with payday express? - did you get a final response from them - or a decision from FOS? -
they also state in their final response/offer - Our Settlement offer is made without any admission of liability and will remain open for fourteen days from the date of this letter. Our offer is strictly confidential and conditional upon you agreeing not to disclose to any third party details of the offer, the fact that an agreement has been reached and the terms of our agreement.
-
update - final response rec'vd due to the intervention of FOS - PDE have accepted no liability, said everything was done, credit checks etc etc - unless its a typo error on their part thay state in their final response that my "your net monthly salary as £12,152.00" ...I wish it was....I took 2 loans with them at a time when I was reliant on PDL's - the first loan was for £200 paid back on time - the 2nd loan was for £500 taken out the day I repaid the 1st loan. Anyways usual story could afford to repay it and now the debt stands at £850 - they have offered as a gesture of good will to waiver the £250 of charges - but not stated what is to appen to the remainder nor have they confirmed that they will remove the details of these loans from my credit files

Whats this all about RBS & Natwest dropping charges???
neil6534 replied to neil6534's topic in NatWest Bank
just got me thinking why....is it possible that these charges were unfair/unreasonable or unlawful and thats why they have dropped them....if so a possible reclaim maybe? -
Hi all, today I have received 2 emails 1 for my natwest account the other for my rbs account - both saying the same thing "We're really happy to let you know that from 5th April 2016 we'll stop charging unpaid transaction fees on your Basic account. You're charged unpaid transaction fees when you try to make a payment but don't have enough money in your account to cover it. We normally charge £6 for each unpaid transaction (up to £60 for each charging period). The good news is from 5th April 2016, you won't need to worry about this". Has there been a problem with these charges then? Is that why they are removing them?
