Hi, this is for a council issued ticket. Sorry I'm really confused, I've never had £300 charges before, If it's gone to a bailiff, I've paid the outstanding penalty charge & then costs which has been no more than £50.00.

Hi I hope someone can advise? I received a parking ticket & stupidly forgot to pay it. When I did go to pay it, I was informed it had gone to the bailiff. The fine was £100. I then received a letter from Equita, informing me that despite numerous attempts the fine was still outstanding & they were going To remove my car within 48hrs. I emailed Equita stating that I had never received any correspondence from them & also asked what The outstanding balance was, as it wasn't stated on their letter. Today I have received 2 letters from Equita one is a Removal Notice unless I pay the outstanding Balance. The other letter is an acknowledgement to my email stating that the outstanding balance is £421.60 subject To additional recovery action. How have they come to this amount when the fine is £100 which I'm prepared to pay and I know there Would be some costs but not that much. They have never been to my house. Could some one advise as to what I should pay & a return letter to Equita? Thank you

Thank you for your response, I have managed to get through to council tax recovery, I explained everything to them & the fact that a bailiff hasn't actually called, I have arranged a repayment plan to start on the 16th September, he said this will be confirmed in writing & was happy for me to have his name. So as long as I stick to my repayments, hopefully all should be ok.

Hi, I have fallen behind with this years council tax, due to unemployment, I emailed the council in July to ask if I could go onto a payment plan, to which they replied that I needed to call them, I have done this today and have been informed the debt has been passed to a bailiff working for Equita, and that I need to speak to him directly. Which I haven't done. I have tried constantly to get through to my local council council tax recovery but I am having no luck at all, I really want to stop the bailiff from calling as of yet he hasn't. Any advice would be really appreciated.

Hi, I want to say thank you for all your previous help, but unfortunately due to ill health I was unable to act upon it & have now ended up with a CCJ from Brian Carter. I am feeling a little stronger, although I'm not sure there is much I can do now. I hav e received 2 letters from Brian Carter informing me that I have now received a CCJ, they have said that I have 30 days to act upon the CCJ with regards to payments, I am wondering if there is anything I can do or appeal?

Hi, I took out a loan through Debtbusters in 2005 for £18000, which ended up with Central Trust, in 2007 the Loan was paid in full. I know there was definitely PPI as it was just added. Unfortunately I have no documentation, only account numbers. When I contacted Central Trust regarding this, they have said there was no PPI. I know for a fact there was. Could someone advise what I should do next? Thank you

Hi, I've checked my credit file, as I had an alert, and it is showing that Fredrickson are investigating the debt, no mention of Brian Carter?

I've sent the email & letter off, so we shall see what they reply. With regards to the other debt with Aktiv Kapital should I go ahead with the letter that was drafted for me for the offer of full & finall, as I really want this out of the way & I now have the small amount to try & pay?

I don't recall any letter before action, only letters for payments, I will check again though. I sent the CCA recorded delivery also I have a copy of the letter
