  1. Thank you for your help, it makes sense now and sounds very likely that this could have happened. That would explain why his company charged £25 admin fee last time. How would he go about filing an out of time witness statement? I haven't heard back from the bailiff, but he was keen to talk about it all the other day when he knocked.
  2. With the previous fine that was eventually paid, the notices were going to his office, he then spoke to the office that assured him in future they would be sent straight to him. I'm just wondering if this was a fine that went to the office and never got sent on to my husband.
  3. My husband isn't the registered keeper, he does work for a courier company and he has had an issue as the previous fine had gone to the company who then took a £25 admin fee, which then eventually the fine was sent to my husband and it got paid. I really don't know what's happened with this one.
  4. Thank you, We haven't owned a car for a long time. I understand the debt is not in my name and because we have no vehicles, it's hard for the bailiff to take any goods and he's definitely not coming in. I just don't want the constant harassment of a baillif knocking. So I think maybe text the bailiff and ask him if he has received the email from his company that I sent and then try to set up an arrangement with him. Because I could send letters to Marstons and the local authority stating my husband isn't here, but this is still his registered address, so would they really take much notice of the letters?
  5. Hi, thank you for your response, my husband doesn't have a car and neither do I. I have just received an email back from Marstons this morning, stating that it is now with the enforcement agent and that they have passed the email to him. That my husband needs to contact him to settle the matter. In the email I sent I did offer £50 per month with immediate payment as the debt then was just over £200. Now the debt is £500 I really can't have the baillif keep knocking, so maybe try to negotiate an arrangement
  6. Hi, The debt is for an unpaid parking fine The bailiff is Marston My husband did normally live here but hasn't for a few weeks now. When I opened the letter, to be honest I just didn't want a bailiff knocking on the door which is why I emailed the company, I used email because I though I would have proof. I would then eventually sort the money out with my husband. The debt is for £512 now, it was lower than that when I emailed the company..
  7. Hi, my Husband had received a letter from the bailiffs due to him not permanently being here, I opened the letter It stated to contact the bailiffs office to set up an arrangement for payment, which I did a week ago via email. I received an acknowledgement of the receipt of the email. Today a bailiff called at my house asking for my husband to which I replied he wasn't here and I couldn't contact him, at no point did I let him in. He then handed me a letter asking me to pass it on to my husband or if I could forward a number for my husband, which I said I doubt I could. I said to him that I had sent an email to the bailiff office and I could prove it but he didn't really seem interested. I don't really know what to do next I hope someone can advise?
  8. Also is there any sort of template that I can follow as I don't want to muck this up?

  10. Thank you, I will check all that out. I didn't change to a flexi loan.
  11. Thank you, There was a constant pattern of rollovers that started with £400 and ended increasing to £1200. I have checked my account on the QQ website & according to them I have had 19 loans. The Total £14,600. Could someone advise as to adding interest to this and if so how much? Thank you
  12. Hi, I hope I can be pointed in the right direction. I have had several loans from QQ dating from 2010-2012 a total of 19 loans according to their information adding up to £14,600 without adding interest. The last loan of £1100 is showing as defaulted in August 2012 , apparently was funded on the 24th August 2012, I have checked through all my previous bank statements and this payment is not showing. I hope someone can help as to who I email and what should I say? Thank you
  13. Hi, just an update, this matter is still ongoing, I haven't heard anything back from my local councillor yet. I have received a letter from Equita addressed to myself, stating that as a goodwill gesture, during the Christmas period they will suspend collection until the new year as long as substantial payments have been made. Well I have made payments of £1500. The bailiff got intouch for payment, so I txt him that I had received the letter, & therefore took it that the payments resumed in January as stated in the letter. He said that it didn't apply to me. I txt back saying the letter was addressed to me personally. He the ask for a photo of the letter & then said I still need to pay. I received a message from him yesterday saying he is going to turn up today to remove goods. I will txt him later asking why that letter was sent and isn't bring adhered to, as I have made substantial payments. I will also send him a photo of the letter. when he said he was coming today, he said " you owe £500ish"
  14. Hi I hope someone can advise for my friend as I don't want to give the wrong information. My friend had an outstanding debt with collectica for £770 for an unpaid fine. She tried to agree a repayment plan but the bailiff wouldn't agree and gave her a week to pay. This morning they turned up, she said she would pay them the £770 but the bailiff said it had gone up by £110 and was now £880, she paid this after borrowing the money. Should the bailiff have charged the £110, when he never removed goods or has NEVER been into her home, she has never signed a controlled goods agreement.
  15. I think thats maybe the case, I'm wondering how many other complaints his had. Do you think I should send the text about the account being on hold for 2 weeks as suggested?
  16. I have sent that text, he doesn't reply, also my Councillor has also suggested that I text him stating that the account be on hold for 2 weeks while this is being looked into.
  17. Thank you for all your replies and help. I had already sent a text to the bailiff, before i saw your comments. i said to the bailiff on text that he had advised in a previous text to pay equita direct, which is what my friend done. I informed him that I had spoken to my local Councillor who is taking this matter up with equita and the council, I told him that my Councillor said that at no time have I ever refused to pay, and the fact that I had already paid £1250 proves that, I said that the Councillor has said that I don't pay the £110 as at no time have goods been removed from my house and no control order. The bailiff tried to say that i kept breaking arrangements. I replied and stated again that I have never refused to pay, but that he had in previous texts sent me all different amounts to pay, so I had no choice but to have this looked into. His reply was ok. I still have £500 left to pay.
