hi today received a default notice dated 26 th Aug it gives me 17 days from the date of the letter to remedy the default It does not give an actual date for remedy. Could some one tell me if this is correct thanks ps sent 1st class received today

hi My other card is at a higher rate and if i paid all the debt by this method it would take me way over my limit Anyone got any ideas the account is well in dispute they just wont admit it -

I have a letter from my OC asking me to make a payment with another credit card is this against banking code or OFT guidance

Have now been sent a letter stating that they will default me if i dont make a payment and thati can pay by using a debit or credit card as long as it isnt part of RBS group and asking me to ring on a 0845 number i didnt think they could do either of these things

Hi ghost debt you are in exactly the same situation as me and at about the same point They just stick their heads in the sand and carry on regardless -
i have had final response and sent all details to FOS but they will take 6 to 9 months toreally do anything my problem is that i am not sure how to go about court and all the implications and whether i will be able to handle a court hearing

After much consideration i now feel it is time to issue court proceedings the letter that Lillywhite kindly sent is similar to one i have already sent and had another final response to. i would like some help on how to go about court proceedings and what i claim for ie that the agreement be deemed uneforceable

hi thanks for all that i will send this letter although i have had 2 final response letters from them i will see how they respond this time and if not favourable will then consider court proceedings

hi Have received another final response from them i wrote pointing out everything that was wrong with application form and asking them to point out the reasons they believe it was enforceable they obviously couldnt do this I think my next step is court but need some info on how to go about this and the implications etc thanks

Hope to update you within the next week Send a reminder for the CPR after 21 days that way you can say you have made every effort to get the info and they have stuck their head in the sand and then spit their dummy out with a final response letter

does anyone have any thoughts on using section127 in that a tatement by a creditor or owner is binding under s78 of CCA1974. i belive this means that the documents that are sent using s78 are the only documents that can be relied on in court as these were the only documents provided to a lawful request

the phone calls have started i have written asking for them to communicate by letter only, they say they will keep calling they are positive that the account is not in dispute. they will not respond to CPR31.16 can i issue court proceedings to get them to respond to the request what other options are available to me suggestions received with appreciation
