  2. Issue a claim through moeyclaim, dont panic, keep reading this site and ask questions if you are unsure about anything.
  3. Threaten to refuse the offer and continue with court action unless they send you a cheque, at your risk of course, but it has worked for others.

  5. I got my stay removed by cutting and pasting a letter from the library of this site and adding my relevant parts to the letter, it was done within a week of the court receiving it and I did not pay a fee, the day after the court removed the stay Lloyds settled in full.

I have mooreda, it states that if you pay by instalments you must pay the balance of the full premium, though I say why, my policy did not expire until Jan 2007, where does it say in English Law that I am not entitled to a refund ? And remember, banks give their customers a list of charges at the start of that contract which are now being challenged successfully all over the UK, so why cant I challange " if you pay by direct debit you must pay the balance in full " ???
  8. Thanks Teddybear Before amending in court I have sent a letter to the chairman of the new company telling him I will be applying to the court to have his company named as the defendant, just in case he had no idea of the claim when he bought out the firm I was suing.

  11. I dealt with them, I addressed them on the envelope with their initials SC&M so it looked like **** !!!

  15. Me dad won today !!!, the court accepted their defence and then they offered settlement for the claim without going to court. Thanks to all.
  16. Thanks for the advice, the firm in question have been taken over (paid 1.1 million) with all the staff as well.
  17. The acquisition of the company is of "the entire equity interests of the founding partners " ( who I am suing as a company ) their staff and entire client base.
  18. How would trading standards be able to help okonski ?
