  1. TRANSLATED = We are aware that forums such as The Consumer Action Group, amongst others, are telling everyone to ignore us and this is really hitting our profit margins. So we have come up with this bit of nonsense now to try and put doubt in peoples mind. We are still talking about the internet joke, a.k.a. 'Graham White', because we think it stills sounds a little bit scary. regards The campaign for real meanings!!!!
  2. The names these clowns think up to frighten people is pathetic. By recovery agents they mean the tea boy 3 desks down. IGNORE, and if you are ever feeling sad read over all their letters to give yourself a good laugh. regards
  3. PG233, If you want to see what a solicitor thinks of private parking company tickets, watch the video: Now will you believe the advice given to you is sound? regards
  4. PG233, First and foremost CALM DOWN. AL27 and Honeybee are both well established posters on this forum who have given excellent advice over the years. AL27 has helped many people who have actually had court papers issued against them and has beaten the PPC's everytime. If you are not happy with their advice, either go and see a solicitor who will no doubt charge you for their time or pay the ppc and have done with it. regards
  5. Why would anyone want to waste their time and money challenging the ticket, when ignore makes your point even better. regards

  8. When they see you haven't fallen for it they will move on. They also can't deny they know about the above quote because, I lifted it from THEIR website. It is all bluff. regards
  9. Ignore them, it is not a fine. The fact they keep putting the sum up with every letter just makes it more unenforceable, relax. regards
  10. As DBC stated the matter has to go to court first, did they fail to mention that in their letter???? see below: "When a Sheriff or Judge issues his/her judgment (Decree) then the Sheriff Officer or Messenger-at-Arms may be instructed to enforce the Court's decision by way of diligence. Generally, a Charge for payment would be issued allowing the defender/debtor fourteen days to resolve the matter. If they fail to repay the debt or does not come to a suitable arrangement, then a Sheriff Officer or Messenger-at-Arms may be instructed to serve - An earnings arrestment A third party arrestment A bank arrestment regards
  11. Handy to keep them in case you need a good laugh every now and then. regards
  12. You are taking them far too seriously and have been completely sucked in. You do realise that you are dealing with a Private company and not any lawful authority, don't you? Why anyone feels the need to justify themselves to a private company is beyond me. Oh, and I will tell you the result of your appeal, REJECTED. To save you waiting. regards
  13. Data Protection violation springs to mind, especially as they released your details when they were not legally required too. regards

Debt Collector = A person with absolutely no powers whatsoever, except perhaps to send letters some even in scary red ink. Ignore that threat as well they are toothless. regards
  16. Ignore it is all bluff. Revenue is down due to forums such as this and desperation has set in. DON'T fall for it. regards
  17. I would be very wary of sending things like bank statements to a private company. Remember you do not have to justify yourself to them or anyone else that runs a private company. regards
  18. Sounds like making off without payment, but there are some cops on this site who may be able to give you a qualified answer. regards
  19. In Perky's world the ppc's have more power than the Police or any other lawful authority. The whole pack of cards fall down when someone calls their bluff. Hi Perky, miss you:wave:
  20. I've had 33 of these 'parking invoices', never paid one, never contacted any of them and never been taken to court. I wonder why that is if they have such a strong case? regards
  21. They get away with it because people have caved in and paid. So they are sticking to a script that works best for them hoping people wont notcie things like, different names but same address. regards
  22. Trust me the very last thing you/we want is Government regulation it would give the PPC's the legitimacy they crave. The Government would probably also approve 'invoices' in the sum of £100+. At the moment the PPCs are on a hiding to nothing and are starting to really feel the pain of forums such as this, I would be tempted to leave things as they are. regards
