  1. I thought i read somewhere you can claim your fees back if they over charge. Someone one here will know better than me.
  2. Sorry I thought the Scottish case was that the banks had to prove their charges, as in what the true cost was.
  3. Does this mean the banks won't have to prove what the true cost of charges are?
  4. Files attatched I will try again, but all it has is my name, age and address filled in the blanked out areas no other details.
  5. Sorry I'm confused, so by doing it online and they have sent me a copy of the form I filled in it says I agreed by proceeding to the next page, does this count or not? Also it is dated the 20/04/10 but the letter is for 2nd July 2010 I also have 4 pages of conditions but just realised they are the wrong ones as they say the charge is £12, but it was much more when it went on my account. The form says I applied in july 08 but the Vanquis Credit Agreement and Full Terms is just 4 pages of rules and dated 08/08. The other is titled Digital Signature Aplication Form. It is just a print out of all my information and apart from a Final Decision with a box just filled in with the date 26/06.2008 11:54 there is nothing else will try to copy so you can see it.
  6. I wrote on an original letter, Please supply CCA, and they have acknowledged on the phone that it was requested. Just got this letter than makes me smile. 2nd July 2010 Your Query we have acquired the original credit agreement from Vanquis relating to this account and have enclosed a copy for your attention. We apologise for the delay in supplying this but can somestimes be the case when requesting archived information. if you recall this account as belonging to yourself, it is important that you contact us as a matter of urgency in order to discuss your payment arrangements. The balance currently outstanding on this account is £***. I have asked them to supply the Vanquis statments as I only had a £200 limit and have told them I think most of it is made up of charges. Which they have agreed to supply. I have also asked for a copy of their purchase agreement from Vanquis and been told that they have been told to tell anyone that asks that they claim that is private so have no need to supply it. I told her please record on my info that I did ask for it and would want it produced if it came to court. I suppose all I do now is wait as I just phoned Vanquis who say they don't have copies themsleves, and charge £5 for each if they have to find and reprint them but will look for cabot if they ask. The card is from about 2 years ago.
  7. Been in and paid £145 over the counter as cash, and now Ross and Roberts can do what ever they like as I owe them nothing. Got it confirmed by the council who told the bayliff off for what he did. Thanks for your help Guys and Gals
  8. I thought the Bank was being asked to prove the charges, a judge would know they are trying to wiggle after all that's why he said the bank had to PROVE the charges.
  9. On the back it says my bill was £145.00 which I thought was the £124.50 plus the 1st leve £24.5 so you say pay that. to clear the council bill. If I still owe them fees of £18.50 for a second visit that is their fees on top can they charge me to collect their own fees?
  10. He seems to pop up once every few months I was paying it at £50 a month to the company but missed a payment by 2 days and he turned up. Got a letter saying he would charge so as I had sent a cheque which they returned the day after he visited they reset it up, then due to a bank holiday delaying my tax credits he turned up again, never seen him before, so went and paid the outstanding of the £345 he said I owed so he had to cancel the £110 fees he tried to charge last time. This time as I opened the door to get my daughter from school he was just about to knock, he phoned the council who Said i still owe £145 so I said I would pay it tomorrow he got cross and said I'm going to leve your car, I just walked off. Then he just have put the letter through the door, so not sure if it was a first visit on a new amount they were trying to collect or monies still owed from the last one, anyway I am going to pay tomorrow. As I said the car isn;t mine it belongs to next door so will pay and also have his letter forwarded too the Chief Exect at the council as I know he was only doing it to be spiteful, because i wasn't scared of him.
  11. That's what I thought, have looked around and will do as you say and get this noted by the council when I pay in the morning. If you could have seen him he was really cross and shouting I had to pay and had no choice, he never normally gets to see me, so I think the fact that I locked him out while i got some shoes and then just walked to school when he thought I was going to drive the car away, made him so cross. By the way does he still get paid if all the extra fees he keeps adding on never get paid?
  12. mine just take the account number and payment on the account, then they inform the bayliff it has been paid. So what do I do pay the council extra? as I read that once the council have been paid in full the Bayliff have to get their fees from the council not me, Is this correct?
  13. I will be walking into the council with cash tomorrow morning SO that i know it has been paid in full and can check what else I need to pay. The bloke is cross because I keep paying the council not them, so they get no fees from me, hence why he is like this. I have been charged for this bill included in another total amount but have never paid them any fees. If it says 3 days does that mean he won't be back before then?
  14. I walked out of my door to be met by a Ross and Roberts agent. He says I owe the council £145.34 l Not I have an invoice for £124.34 arrears levy fee £ 26 Statutary walking possession notice £12.00 1st visit £ 24.50 2nd visit £18.00 Total £204.84 and he has listed my next door neighbours cars as chattels that have been impounded... If I go in tomorrow and pay the council what I still owe them can anyone tell me if i will owe him anything?
  15. I really do wonder if the banks will ever payout, but we could all do with the money back so we can pay more tax.
  16. Bookworm, as usual your brisk and to the point.. I was trying to be nice, but she really has no leg to stand on as they filled the original contract.
  17. I'm not sure if you had a contact written up for this event.. But if you did and it says 150 were to be feed, and you feed 150 which bit of the contract do you think the catering company broke?
  18. I think I agree with everyone else, was this a buffet or sit down meal? Beacuse if it was a buffet and you feed an extra 50 people, and only a few went without food enough food then you have done pretty well. just think of the 40 meals that would have been wasted because he really had that much extra food avaliable, you would have wanted to take it all home and 40 meals is one heck of a lot of food to have.
  19. Just had a thought. what will happen to the 10,000 of cars parked while their owners are away, that don't get collected before the tickets run out? I know my mum has a company that collected her car to park else where, will you have to pay extra for longer parking?
  20. Probate Records - Probate, Wills, Letters of Administration A friend used this site after her uncle died, as her aunt (his sister) kept saying this was in the will and that was in the will, and my friend just wanted to know the truth, if he has a will they have a copy of it once everthing is sorted.
  21. 0870 727 4761 this seems to be the phone number for this company... DataCash Processing Secure Internet Payments (Credit and Debit Card, Direct Debit, Online Cash) Maybe it's worth a try calling them to block the payments so it can be checked. it says it has a fraud section
  22. I got asked ny someone to take some money out of their account, which I did with the pin they gave me, then about a week later they fell out with me and told me they were going to report me to the police, so I phoned the bank and asked them about it from my point of view... I was told that the pin number is a private safeguard, if someone gave it to me then they have no comeback on the money taken out of the account, as they gave permission for it to be used. so no charges can be pressed against me... I know this doesn't help, but may be why they are saying they won't refund. What has been taken, or has the money been transfred to a different account as the bank must know where the money has gone, if it has been withdrawn from a cashpoint then it should say which one was used..
