  1. you didnt mention anything about a default notice, or is it that you just copied it straight here from the library?
  2. well done, but please can you keep all your questions in one thread as it makes it much easier for us to keep track of , thanks
  3. sent all my correspondance to customer services dept in leeds, took about 5 weeks from preliminary to money in my account
  4. yes add them all on , there wil be no reproductions of charges on your statements, if it says total charges it is a seperate charge to any of the others from that month, so whatever it gives as a description, enter that into the spreadsheet
  5. glad to hear it, anything you're not sure just ask
  6. best thing to do if you're unsure is to read this how to reclaim your bank charges
  7. nice one, seems as though you are in control of the situation, b.o.l.
  8. yes you can save a claim on MCOL for up to 28 days before you want to issue it, this is good as if theres something you're not sure of you can come here and ask
  9. welcome to the fray, unfortunately i only know what i've read in the business faq section, so i cant really help you there, im sure someone else will be able to though
  10. that is true, but if you check the wording on the preliminary letter I now understand that the regime of fees which you have been applying to my account in relation to direct debit refusals, exceeding overdraft limits and so forth are unlawful at Common Law, Statute and recent consumer regulations. If you say that they are not, then will you please demonstrate this by letting me have a full breakdown of the costs to which you have been put by as a result of my breaches, in order to reassure me that your penalties really do reflect your costs. its covered, so you can use online banking, with no problems
  11. best of luck, your approx 6 weeks from your money
  12. okay dont worry, personally i would say ignore the o-d interest its too much hassle for not much gain, add the 8% interest on the day you file your claim with MCOL
  13. well best bet is to download the spreadsheet in excel format http://www.bankactiongroup.helpwithmypc.com/resources/BankCharges.xls if you dont have m-s excel then download this, its free and is compatible with excel http://openoffice.bouncer.osuosl.org/?product=OpenOffice.org&os=win〈=en&version=2.0.3 by the way, make sure you send in your charges breakdown with your LBA,
  14. thats right, keep us informed
  15. yes i have been saying since last week to newcomers that they have to send in a charges breakdown at the start of their claim, reagrding the prelim ammendment, seems fine to me, see what others say

    Don Vs HSBC

provided you've already sent in you charges breakdown, i would say that when you get back you will have a letter from dg solicitors, for full payment, well done you're nearly there
  17. pff , its a standard letter, ignore and continue with your timetable, so wait for 14 days being up then go to MCOL, provided your second letter was LBA right?
  18. well the way i see it is this if you lost your wallet which had £100 in , would you be tearing your hair out?, or just " ah well its one of those things" depends on how much you need it
