  1. The race is on now Matty - see if we both follow the same timescale. Are you going to file on MCOL or at your local court?
  2. What are we going to do when all this is over?????
  3. Entirely up to you as to whether you count from the 1st or 2nd LBA. But what I have always done is to count 14 days from when I posted not when they received. They do that to us!
  4. Good luck with yours as well. Have to meet up for a drink when all this is over
  5. Thanks Christina - your busy around here today aren't you? Only broght my thread up because I wasn't quick enough to get onto any others
  6. Quick update. Had a very quick response from Andover to business claim (only took 7 days). Usual sod off letter though, so LBA going off today. Absolutely nothing back on the personal claim so looks like filing at court next week:D
  7. Congratulations. Expect to wait 2 or 3 weeks, especially with the amount of claims they are settling at the moment. They seem to be flooding in at the moment.
  8. Congratulations. Cross out the T&Cs you don't agree with and get the letter back to them. The wait a couple of weeks for the money to arrive. Remember to stick to any court time limits just in case they don't pay. Only inform court of settlement once you have the money.
  9. It is unlikely that they would pay direct into a loan account. If your loan is in arrears then they could transfer the arrears amount from your other account once you have been paid. They did this to me to pay arrears on my credit card.
  10. I have had replies from there but not always on time. On my first claim I received the usual letter following prelim letter and then nothing following LBA until I had taken them to court. The claims I am dealing with now have had different responses. On the 2nd personal claim I have received nothing (now at LBA stage). On the business claim I received the usual letter from Andover after just 7 days. I have always just sent thew letters normal post and assumed delivery. If they haven't received them - tough! 14 days after LBA take them to court.
  11. May as well start the ball rolling now - you know how long it takes.
  12. Excellent another victory to CAG. Well done.
  13. I see GuidoT is on here at the moment so he will be able to advise on wasted costs. There is a template on here. I didn't bother myself as I wanted to get on with the other claims.
  14. In the same position. 1st claim (personal) settled 2 weeks before court. 2nd claim (personal) at LBA stage - no response at all to first letter. 3rd claim (business) about to go to LBA stage after usual sod off response to first letter (received just 7 days after initial letter! Good luck bd.
  15. Yes get your court bundle in before 22 August (earlier the better - **** sometimes settle when they have received your Bundle). It looks to me like 2 hearings. A prelim hearing of 15 minutes and a full hearing of 1 hour. So you should soon receive 2 dates . Hopefully, things will be settled on or around the prelim hearing. Hang on in there.
  16. Send the rejection letter (template is on this site) and keep to the timescales set by the court.
  17. Could try a nudge letter but I think they are snowed under at the moment so will act in their own time.
  18. Just had the standard sod off letter to my business prelim letter but nothing on the personal account which started a week earlier.
  19. Make sure you cross out any terms you do not agree to before you sign. This will not delay your claim.
  20. Standard delay tactics. Get on with the court claim.
  21. You are not alone. I have had to start all over again on my personal account as they took out a further £395 even though the account was in dispute. Not even had a reply this time so now at LBA stage. Business manager told me to write to him about charges on business account. He said they now have a department dealing with this and they are returning about 50% of charges. He didn't even want a schedule, just said write to me and I'll sort it out. What did you think I did? Correct, went down the formal route. They've got 7 days left before LBA. Good luck bd.
  22. Sounds good to me. The Frankfurt market is great. Have you had any other interest. Hopefully all of my claims will have been paid by then.
  23. Have a look at this link: http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk/forum/lloyds-bank/102788-cardiff-hearings-14th-august.html it should help. There are going to be quite a few of you there.
  24. I think you'll fin d it is now taking up to 3 weeks.
  25. Keep the wine and lager within touching distance just in case the power goes - wouldn't want you tripping over looking for a bottle . In all seriousness though I hope you and yours stay safe. BD.
