  1. I created a version of your program in another language and it produced an APR of 7.6% The difference was, 1st month pay nothing, second month pay £35, then onto normal payments. The output of my program is: Loan Amount Left: 231.03 Total Payable : 23935.54 APR : 7.60% Thanks, A.
  2. I found this here and attempted to calculate the values according to the instructions and the cca posted earlier in the thread: How many advances ? 1 How many levels ? 3 How many irregular payments ? 0 How much is the loan ? 15000 What are the payments in level 1 ? 0 and how many are there ? 1 What are the payments in level 1 ? 35 and how many are there ? 1 What are the payments in level 1 ? 291.47 and how many are there ? 84 How many time periods are there in a year ? 12 The calculated rate is : 15.49601865795828 The APR is : 15.5 Period rate : 1.208% Total charge for credit : £9518.48 Total amount payable : £24518.48 Is this right? I did it again slightly differently: How many advances ? 1 How many levels ? 2 How many irregular payments ? 1 How much is the loan ? 15000 What are the payments in level 1 ? 0 and how many are there ? 1 What are the payments in level 1 ? 291.47 and how many are there ? 84 How much is irregular payments 1 ? 35 and when is it made ? 1 How many time periods are there in a year ? 12 The calculated rate is : 15.95422788699615 The APR is : 16.0 Period rate : 1.241% Total charge for credit : £9518.48 Total amount payable : £24518.48 Confused Help, please? Thanks, A.
  3. Damn! I can't find a copy of DualCalc to download, all links are dead. A.
  4. Hi, I've been getting calls from the above (even though they said they deleted my number) for a while now. All I've been doing is writing down when they called and ignored the call. If this goes to court, is this "log" good enough evidence that they have called? Some of the times, I missed the call and they called again, so my phone only showed the last time they called and how many times, so the log is a bit confused in small parts . Thanks, Archangel9.
  5. Just a quick update. Another letter today from them stating they'll be sending one of their collectors round within 7-10 days. Nice of them. I really must get around to sending a harassment warning for the (tons of) phone calls from them and this number, 08000927205, which I can only assume is them via Telegen. Has anyone else had this phone number pop up before? Thanks, A.
  6. Ok, a little update. They sent me letter stating that this is now going onto a sue list. I would scan the letter but I still can scan atm Anyone know the process of this? Ta, A.
  7. I might have to use that harassment letter myself. They've been ringing me pretty much daily multiple times even after they said they removed the number from their systems, just how stupid are they? A.
  8. Can someone explain how to use this dualcalc program?
  9. Looks like they work Saturdays too as they've just rung me again!
  10. Just a quick update... More phone calls from them, dunno if it's about this account or the other one and a nice letter asking what they've done wrong, and I could I call them for a reduced rate or something. This is after the last letter stating court action in 10 days, whatever! A.
  11. Just a quick update... More phone calls from them, dunno if it's about this account or the other one and a nice letter stating impending court action in 10 days, ah well. A.
  12. Well, just had a phone call from RWC and a message left on answer machine informing me I should contact them straight away. What was that about deleting my number from their files?

  14. Where can I download the PDF's of the 1974 and 2008 acts? Will I also need the 2006 changes to read through? Thanks, A.
  15. Hi, I sent a letter to TS a while back concerning my HSBC and Sainsburys accounts supposedly held by RWC. I got a letter back today from TS, I can't scan it for some reason, but they state: They mention earlier in the letter that RWC had provided them with all the documentation which they have provided me with but no mention of time limits and failing to abide by these (these documents have been discussed in the links above). Does this mean then, that DCA's don't have a time limit in which to provide such documentation? Thanks, A.
  16. As they mention the "creditor" can this be used in court as part of defence as the DCA is not the creditor? Thanks, A.
  17. Just in case somebody didn't see it and wanted to reply Looks like I've got to get ready to go to court so they can prove once and for all whether they own this or not! :/
  18. A further letter from RCW (well it came in their envelope)
