  1. Sent it. I would’ve sent it last night but after finally getting the printer to print, it was getting close to 1715 hrs and the post office I rang (which was open until 2030) said I couldn’t get a postal order until the morning, what kind of Mickey Mouse doodoo is that??
  2. Yeah I know. But nothing is working. My computer is longer working, the laptop was never really working.
  3. I’ve moved since this, had the letter printed to go on Friday. Can’t find the letter, computer won’t work.
  4. Thanks. Is it worth CC'ing credit ref agencies due to the default they have placed in cabot's name?
  5. But to confirm the CCA can also go to the solicitor.
  6. they're both going to the same address, right? The solicitors?
  7. That's the one I have and there are no built in forms I can type into on that. There are on the CCA PDF, but not on this one.
  8. The guide says So, as I don't have a "recommended reason" here, what do I put? And don't be patronising saying other people manage it, if the instructions were clear, I'd not be asking, would I?? As for Sec I, I'll have to put all that on a second sheet as it's too long to write.
  9. I am following the guide, but if I'm asking, it's because it's not clear. So leave the reason blank?
  10. So I need to send this to the solicitor and remove the section where it says to or leave it, because they are not the creditor? Also, which section do I need to remove reference to 77, 78 or 79?
  11. Doh, of course, I wasn't thinking straight yesterday. Anyways, today I got this along with a bunch of Q&A's entitied "Letter of claim details" and a reply form. cag2.pdf
  12. You haven't, otherwise I wouldn't be asking. You said "It might also be worthy to send the post office one," why would I send the PO one? That doesn't make sense to me.
  13. Previously, the debts I had which were SAR'd, they returned stating they had not bought the right to collect. Send the PO a SAR? What for?
  14. As I said above, I have some issues that I don't want to go into here, but one was lost a job. But, what about the CCA and whether they have the right to collect??
  15. Took the card out over 2 years ago, not used it since 2021 I think. Thing is, I am moving in the next couple of weeks. Oh and cabot have put a default on my credit record, which I have emailed experian about, disputing it, but they've not put any notice on it saying so.
  16. I have not moved yet, that is happening, just had some issues.
  17. Ok, so they passed it to opos, then sold it to cabot, I've dealt with them before and they didn't buy the rights to collect. I did get a letter from their solicitors this week but cannot find it. cag.pdf Tried to edit, but can't...But the gist of their letter was to contact them within 7 days, so if I get the CCA sorted today, I can send it tomorrow special delivery to ensure signature and they will get it Friday.
  18. As I already said, I'll post the details when I dig them up, they're piled up. But one is threatening legal action, I got a text off a "solicitor" today, dunno if it's real or not, could be bullshit scare tactics, the number is coming back as a solicitors and cabot. And I already posted *what* they are.
  19. These are different debts. Those are dead and buried. I do need to send the statute barred letters on those old ones as I never did do it. Like I said, I'll post these ones soon.
  20. I wasn't paying *them* I was paying those (the originators) who shifted the debts onto them.
  21. I'm a lot behind due to being harassed/evicted/ill, I've not been paying them because I've not had the money to. I've had letters from some debt collectors for a while, cabot and intrum, I need to go through the letters again to see whether they said they bought it or whether it was passed to them, I'll post tomorrow.
