Yes, if the guy who joked about blowing up Doncaster airport via Twitter got into so much trouble then this is on the same scale surely?

Hi Lachie, have you been moving house a lot recently. Amex mostly use a DCA (or 3) before setting their pet solicitors on to you so you should really have a file of letters from 1 or more of them. When you get a reply to the DSAR, make sure you examine it well to see where and to whom this 'debt' has been passed around to. Anyway, keep us updated.

Thanks for the heads-up - I will look out for this when shopping and warn my firends and family. -

That reminds me of a line from a John Grisham novel I read once; What do you call 100 lawyers at the bottom of the sea? A good start! -
I too have been away and just caught up with this. I am equally at a loss to understand how any right-minded judge would rule against Fred! On to the appeal now.

It's quite apt that "For a few dollars more" is on Channel 5 right now. It's seems Amex will tyr just about anything in their desperate bid to dupe the judiciary of this country! -

I need to know if I can work out how much per day a piece of equipment will cost to run if the only information I have is this. Supplied Voltage 24VAC(24~28V)/12VDC(11~15V) Dual Voltage Power Consumption Max 1.4A/17W (Max) at 12V DC The equipment will be wired to the mains, so AC and will be powered on 24-hrs a day.

Hi Honeypot, Tell them you need your dog so it can bite them if you ever bump in to them. While you have all of this new found free time, due to not calling them, have a read of this thread: http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk/forum/bear-garden/131409-cheekiness-towards-dca.html and you will see just what powerless muppets these DCA idiots are. Also search for threads and posts made by Fuzzybobble. As others have said, keep your spirits up and given another couple of weeks you'll be stronger and helping new CAGers out who have similar issues as you're having now.

Hi BRW, I have no idea what they will do next and judging on the recent intervention of CapQuest and the bank re-purchase I don't think they do either. It's just a shame my POC does not claim for harassment!
