  1. Hi Harvey1 I have read other threads where people have received the same thing. As far as I know (or have read) this is just a meeting to decide what is going to happen next. I don't think you need to bring your Court bundle but some have just to be prepared. I would also recommend attending. Sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong.
  2. Hi OHOH I wouldn't worry about which charges the refunds are relating to. Just take the refunded amount off the total rather than try to cancel out exact charges. Abbey did the same to me and I just thanked them for the Goodwill gesture but explained that this was in NO WAY Full or Final settlement and carried onto MCOL. If you have already started your claim I would just write to the court and ask them to attach an amended sheet of charges to your claim with the explaination that Abbey have credited your account as a Gesture of Goodwill without prior agreement with yourself. Wouldn't amend the actual charges list just stick another line on the bottom to show the credited amount and then on the next line the new amount now being claimed. Hope this helps.
  3. Congratulations!!! Get working on getting some compensation for your time now! I'm also gunning for Abbey and reading success stories boosts my enthusiasm no end. Well done again.

Royal mail never seem to loose their post do they ha ha ha
  6. Think I'd have to ask myself what the banks would do if it was reversed... Also depends on whether you want to be better than them or win by default if that's an option...

    Feater v Abbey

Hya yeah, did all that. Sent them the spreadsheet with all the info twice (including interest - just so they could see how much extra it would cost them if they didn't cough up!! - didn't work but was worth a try ), letter asking for full amount (minus interest) and gave them plenty of notice, even sent them an email with the claim no after i started it. That's good then, so I don't have to let Abbey know that I have asked for additional info to be added. At the min Abbey have acknowledged the claim so have 28 days to submit their defence. Thanks for replying so quickly.
  8. Hi All I've been reading this forum for weeks and thought it about time I added my own thread cos I'm sure I'm gonna need help at some point very very soon! I am at the stage where I have started my claim through MCOL and have just sent off a list of my charges to the court and asked them to include the details to the particular of my claim. Do I have to send a copy of the letter and Charges to Abbey also to show that the claim has been updated? Thanks all this site is brill!
