  1. If I found a discrepancy I’d be declaring it to HMRC to avoid any potential financial comeback against me in the future... and to ensure I’m paying what I should....
  2. General question... So how culpable are the employees if they don’t declare this?
  3. I asked the question regarding the addresses because if they served against your old address when they already had your new address a set-aside may have been an immediate option to give you some breathing space. From the dates you have given it seems the claim was correctly served. I’m open to correction from the experts...
  4. Ok, so if it’s net then the appropriate contributions are being made, no? I’m trying to get my head round this. If they deduct a days pay does that mean it doesn’t appear on the payslip? Or are the payslips correct but the money transfers wrong?
  5. Outside the payslip? What does this mean? Does your OH receive a cash sum that equates to the gross error? The net error?
  6. Do it now. OP - remember these salient points when appointing your HCEO.
  7. What was the date on their first letter to you at your new address and what was the date on the claim form served to your old address? Don’t watch ‘can’t pay’...
  8. They didn’t send anything to the address stated on the front of your licence?
  9. I find it incredibly amusing that you, andyorch, have removed my last few quotes about censorship. The irony of it is definitely not lost on me..... You betray your regressive left tendencies, a position these forums are increasingly being seen to promote with any comment that disagrees with your socialist opinion being swiftly removed.... I wonder how long this post will last, despite it being in the bear garden....
  10. Censorship reflects society's lack of confidence in itself. It is a hallmark of an authoritarian regime. ~Potter Stewart, United States v. Ginzburg, 1965
  11. Where are the pictures that were requested? Cancel that. Posted much earlier.
  12. Has the DD definitely been taken every month since they moved in? Heating an all electric home is fiercely expensive.... I think the first thing to do is to check the start meter reading against today’s meter reading and do a quick cost calculation against that. Then you can compare your estimate to their demand. More knowledgeable folk will surely be along soon...
  13. The three letter process is a bit of a non starter, to be honest... Have another read through the threads whilst you wait for the experts to arrive and comment.
  14. But it never is, is it. It’s always about the quota and forcing round pegs into square holes. That’s what an awful lot of people are fed up with. Nobody has ever been able to adequately explain (without risk of a visit from the pc-police) to me why fifty percent of the women employed in a demanding, physical, technical role in my workplace are incompetent, falling way below the standards of their male counterparts, when the other fifty percent are exemplary. The fact is that those in the former group are passengers fulfilling a quota, at the expense of competent males who may well be unemployed. Yay for conditional equality!
  15. You could, but you need to be sure you’re suing the right person/entity. Name him. Location, too.
  16. If he’s a sole trader he should be trading under his name...
  17. I hadn’t realised this. Can you offer a citation for future reference please?
  18. You should be able to request a pdf copy is sent to you via email...
  19. I fear my point is being missed. When the batch online approval is attempted, surely my cancelled card will be declined and I will not be caused any discomfort? It’s the retailers luck out for failing to approve at point of sale, surely....
