im not sure about that dessie but you might be better sit it out and see what the FO come up with as there have been a few sucess,s with them recently. if you start a civil bill against FT it will take several months to get to court so its not speedy either.

now theres a surprise the old FT being stubborn .lol when i first complained about my charges my manager wrote to me and stated "after perusal of your account i feel our charges are more than justified". Well after perusal of all the threads about FT and their cockups i think a refund is more than justified.lol.

yes when you claim online you pay the fees at the time but of course you get them back when you win. will cost you about £62 to claim for that amount.

hi beggsie
give me a bit more info i will try and help. is it less than 2k+interest+costs?. if so you can do it online it costs about £60. over that you need to use a civil bill which you have to do in the court office costs £140.
regards john.
yes diane i see court dates for sept coming out already. with ulster they seem to settle before the defence stage so hopefully you wont have to wait to long.
regards john.
no question about it stacey im hearing about claims being settled by ulster bank everyday now for a lot bigger amounts than yours. eg£7000+ £3000 £2450. and the list goes on.
regards john.
you will need to organise a court bundle stacey but i can help you with that ie. all letters ,spread sheets, case law etc. dont worry though you wont need it they will pay up.
