Hello fellow consumers, at present, thousands of people are going through the process of reclaiming illegal bank charges. The OFT, a body set up to protect the consumer, has now agreed with seven major banks, to allow a freeze of ongoing claims until the issue is decided by a test case in the high court.

As the charges are illegal, anyone who has been charged should be able claim them back now, rather than wait months or years for a ruling by the High Court. So All please sign this petition so we can try to get this stay on all bank charge claims lifted. Thx

:) IF YOU YOU GO TO THE DOWNING STREET WEBSITE THEN ON TO THE E-PETITION PAGE AND LOOK UP THE FOLLOWING DEAILS AND SIMPLY JUST ADD YOUR NAME :)

It was the FSA, not the OFT, and they have no power to freeze county court claims. All they have done is said that the banks no longer need to respond to 'complaints' about bank charges within the specified time.
