Yeah........... a couple of wino's wandering round Manchester drinking meths!!! Ah well......... at least I won't be the only skint girl on the do!!

Realistically, they're only obliged to pay out the amount that you filed on your N1. Any changes should be done an amendment form - but that'll cost £35, and you can't claim it back!

Personally, I'd be cheeky! Send the letter, explain that this is the correct spreadsheet (unfortunately, your last spreadsheet did not calculate the charges accurately!) - and you respectfully declare that this is the amount you'll be claiming!

Alright - they might tell you to get lost, but nothing ventured, nothing gained!!! :D

well sent reply to cobbetts today re CPR 18 request with schedule of charges attached, also sent copy to local court where case transfered. Rang local court this A.M to ask if DJ had looked at my case, was informed that he/she had, and that i would receive an acknowledgement of this soon, and a court date would be set at a later date. As DJ Murdoch at Northampton ordered "the filling of an AQ be dispensed with unless the DJ at the court of transfer orders", should i, if the local court dose not request an AQ, send a Draft Direction as suggested by Bookworm now or should i do nothing?? Could someone clarif, in laymans terms please, what a Draft Direction is, and what coul the outcomes be for me???? "Am i being thick, coz a little confused after reading "No AQ- Straight to Pre Trail Review"!! thanks in advanced W.G.

Hi WG

Don't do anything until you hear from the local court. Once you hear from them send the draft directions whether they use the AQ or not - advice for both is (or soon will be) on hedgeys sticky linked from my signature.

The draft directions orders both sides to disclose everything relevant to their case. This will involve you with quite a bit of work (especially photocopying) which we will help you with. The important thing is what it means for NatWest and Cobbetts - It means they will have to tell the court (and the world) things they have fought long and hard not to have to tell. So they will give up.

WG

It may seem that lots of cases go to court but, as a proportion, it is only a small handful. In other words, the chances of youseeing the inside of a courtroom (at least as far asthis case is concerned anyway ;)) is very small.

Yes, this is a court bundle. If you don't get to court, it will still be useful - as a dooor stop or for propping up a table with one leg shorter than the others ....
