First Direct T&C - anyone have a copy?

Hi all,

 

I'm sure I'm in a similar situation to many others. I have to have my Court Bundle sorted for this Friday, and after Kev v Llloyds case I was hoping to put a copy of First Direct T&Cs in the bundle.

I don't have the original T&Cs from 6 years ago (oddly enough) does ANYONE out there have a copy they could scan and send either by pm or e-mail

Thanks Lulan. Nope I got those thanks. I was hoping someone might have a copy of the T&Cs from a few years back. Looking at the latest T&Cs they have managed to alter the wording cleverly so that going over your overdraft limit is now an "informal overdraft request", and therefore isn't a term of contract.

 

Anyone out there with a copy of old T&Cs please shout.

Thanks for the post! The T&C on the FD site have changed a fair bit since 6 years ago, I had a copy which I was safeguarding for my case and the darn missus has had a shreading day, I'm wounded because I'm trying to get all the docs over to the court for Friday. If the original T&C turn up somewhere let us know. I'll ask on my thread aswell,

Thanks Damjef and all the best to you. The best I've found was some from 2005 and they don't have the full T&Cs one is the back of a Summary of Bank Charges the other is a one page twos sided interest rates and charges sheet.

 

Under 'Charges for excess overdrafts':

"If during any statement month your overdraft exceeds the agreed limit, an Overdraft Fee will be incurred or the first day the excess occurs. In addition the Excess Overdraft Fee will be incurred fir each subsequent day during the same statement month that further debits increase the excess, or an excess recurs after the overdraft has been brought back within the agreed limit."

 

Not exactly a lot to work with there sadly.

 

So the shout goes out to all those good CAG posters who have been withg First Direct - do you have a copy of the T&Cs going back 2-5 years.

This relates to 2003

5.1.3 states "You should not exceed any agreed overdraft limit unless you get our agreement first. "

If that's not a term that says if you do you'll be penalised then they can kiss my white Irish *ss........

The T & C are there for 2003/2004/2005 - current one on their site

 

I doubt they have changed 2001-2003

 

I will post the links in another thread you did the hard work.

 

I don't expect the courts will want the whole thing every time - just the relevant parts and they can be cut and pasted into Word or whatever.

Hi All, Sorry to butt in on your thread ( im HSBC claimant) Have you tried contacting the printers of the t & C's to see if they have archive copies of them, One of ours has contacted HSBC printers and he lives near them, so is hoping they will supply copies. Hopefully the name of printers is on recent T & C's

i have FD T&C for Personal Account customers from 31/8/93 also FD principle T&C for first direct cheque and premier cheque account T&C from 5/11/96.

Do you have access to a scanner, if you do could you scan them and send e mail with them attached to that and send them to one of the moderators. If you are not sure, send a PM to a moderater telling them what you have they will help you . I dont think they need the whole document, just the part about going overdrawn and charges. Do you have the charges as well, if you do, send those as well. Well Done M.
