Update: Got a letter today saying the bank are going to refund all charges but it does not include a cheque or any details of how i or when i will recieve the money they also say i should write to the court to tell them the claim has been settled. Would they of transfered the money to my bank account or should i get a cheque.

Do not end your claim until you are in receipt of ALL the money, charges, ineterest, court costs etc. If they pay up (and it may well be into the account) then you can end your claim.

 

Don't accept any further conditions of settlement though (like keeping quiet!)
