Have FD actually gone all the way with any

claim against them to date, just wondering as I have completed and filed my allocation questionnaire on the 24 April and have heard nothing since, I sent copies to DG Solicitors and expected to hear something, concerned they may go all the way with my claim!

Dont worry, as soon as you get your court date they will settle

My AQ was dispensed with and my court date is July 6th!!

 

I've a feeling they may go all the way with me, just my luck it will ll go pear shaped - but at least i gave it a go.

Tiffla, dont worry, they CAN NOT prove how they calculate their charges because they are mostly profit. They DO NOT want to end up in court and have a judge order them to disclose their charges structure.

 

If you havent settled before, contact THEM about 1 week before the hearing.

just received a notice of transfer of proceedings, a defence has been offered by kate eaves with dg solicitors acting for them, don't understand what to do next with counter claim! can somebody help me please?

hi - we're a couple of steps behind you with First Direct. we've filed a claim and recieved acknowledgement of service saying that FD intend to defend all of this claim. the defendent's solicitor is Kate Eaves of DG solicitors.

 

so now we're waiting for defence, allocation questionaire etc. they have another 20 days.

If it is not a std defence you will have to post it on here so we can see what you need to do.

my son is at the same stage as you so it is for his benefit as well that i get things right, but feeling a little bit out of my depth with different forms to fill in etc
