Hi Hevsky.

Now that you've started your own battle-thread, please try to keep it up to date with progress reports. Then if you need help at any time we will have your claim's history to refer to.

Good luck.

Regards, Rooster.

Oh yes the £10 cheque went too, maybe I should hang fire for a few days then? My original request was posted and dated 12th March to my local branch.

The other thing is i have an agreed overdraft, do you think that they would possibly reduce or cancel it? Ive opened another bank account as well, just to be on the safe side!

In the T's & C's it states that Barclays can withdraw the overdraft facility without warning, they are yet to do this on a wide scale so its a safe bet, you will be ok,

I had an o/D on my accounts when claiming, twas ok.

just trying to put peoples mind at rest, I was a nervous wreck when I started out so know what they are going through.

If ever you go in the chatroom, my respect goes out to Chloe [CJ] she is always there all day she is relentless at offering advice, she is, at the moment CAG's No1.

It must be the first time i've opened a letter from barclays, stating that they've just charged me £30.00 for going over my overdraft limit, and laughed till i was blue in the face. Ive just sent my pre-lim letter, are they thick or what?! lol...................:-D

2 weeks up, i got the standard, sorry you arent happy blah, blah, blah, get back to you sometime in the future. So my letter before action is going tommorrow, oh plus the £65 of extra charges ive incurred since then! Its all going to get a bit scary when the court action becomes inevitable, i dont really understand preparing this bundle etc....

The court bundle is simply a load of documents that you would rely on in court if ever it got there.

here is the link:

http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk/forum/bank-templates-library/33060-basic-court-bundle.html

All you have to do is print it out, and add all letters you send / receive from B's. add in your statements showing the charges and thats roughly it.

later if required you will need to photocopy the whole lot twice so you end up with three copies.

but dont worry about that yet, loads of time.

send your LBA by recorded delivery too
