Hi All,

Just started claim to RBoS for a staggering £3,602.57 (before 8% added). Sent prelim letter 05/10/06 almost time for LBA. Received reply today 14/10/06 saying that they are sorry (YEAH RIGHT!!!!!!!!!) and will get back to me.Told me they had enclosed a leaflet for me to read, on how they deal with customer complaints, but no leaflet was enclosed just the letter.Obviously shows how much they care about customer complaints.

I'll do my best to keep you all posted.

Post you soon

Today, 03/11/2006, is 14 days since I sent LBA. I proceeded with the moneyclaim online last night but have received a letter from bank offering a full and final settlement today. I do not want to accept thier offer as it is less than one quarter of what they owe me. Do I still return thier letter stating that I will only accept this as a partial settlement or do I not need to bother as I have already started court proceedings. PLEASE HELP ME SOMEBODY............

Sent the "partial settlement" letter and state that a claim has already been filed for the full amount.

Dont worry, you are right on track.

AQ 149 completed.

Q. I have received a letter from Cobbetts (RBS Solicitors) asking me to send copies of papers to them including copies of legislation. Do I have to send them anything at all or do I just deal with the courts.

Q. Can I sue thier ass for messing me around or better still "penalty charge" them for being late:)

Take it one step at a time, you have 2 weeks between post, after you have your S.A.R.. Plus lots of help from the lovely, very knowledgeable, people on the form.

The hardest parts is waiting and working out the charges they owe you. Once you know what they are you have some lovely pre-made spread sheets you can fill in and the rest is a waiting game.

Good luck, keep us posted.

Well they're hardly going to just hand it over are they!!!!

I thought it was relatively easy but there we go.

The only hard thing is just making sure you really know what you're doing and that comes from plenty of reading. If you have any problems, put them in this thread, someone will be bound to help you.

Thanx T4FF and Styx,

I am awaiting court hearing date at moment.

When I started this claim i was on a role eh. Its just i feel a bit worn down by the RBS solisitors and all the reading i have down on the court process.

I will not give up on this claim.

I will not let those B***ARDS get away with this.

We will all be VICTORIOUS!!!!!!

Just remember, as long as you have done things to the letter, they won't want to go to court so be positive and expect a settlement soon.....

I read somewhere on this site that someone was doing an amendment to thier charges and also had changed thier interest rate to the banks contractual rate of 29.50%. I wonder how they got on????

Thankyou for your reply aswell. I am going to list everything later today.

Does anyone know what the Court Bundle documents page is all about.

It asks for:-

(i) correspondence ?

(iii) statements ?

What correspondence do I send and what statements do I send.

Is it correspondence between both parties?

Is it Bank Statements they want or other statements?
