Oh that is good, very very good!!!

I would love to see the outcome of these letters.

Me and my husband have been looking at an offer from HSBC we received today, he has also got a managed loan which was instigated by the banks because of their unlawful charges, we are considering now claiming for the managed loan and interest on the loan, just need to get our head around the timing and amounts.

Vampiress- was the letter the same as the previous one confirming an increase to £600? The reason being that some people's overdraft are being increased if they want them. Usually there is a bit at the bottom saying that if you don't want it to complete a formand send it back.

The second point as to how far back is in need of explanation. The old NatWest system that RBS got rid of(2001) when they took over NW gave information everytime on account notes when an item was returned sinceNW had computers in branches in 1991/1992(believe it or not people used to wok in branches printing out cheques books and paying in books by hand). That information can still be accessed by branch staff, so I'll leave that thought with you(I'm sure you can know work what I'm saying).

Thanks all. The letter of increase to £200 was confirmation stating a reference, most likely a reference to the phone call, signed by the manager himself.

I've a bit if backbone now I've written these letters to be honest. I may be a Mod, but I've been a wimp. This site helps all of us, including me, gain confidence to fight.

I have been of the mind that because I spent the money I owe it, and still can't get over that hurdle, as it was how I was brought up; to take responsibility for my actions.

I now believe the bank has a responsibility too, and I believe they have failed me. I'm ready to fight. I want my debts written off. Wish me luck. x

Further to advice from Seminole, I am adding a sentence to the paragraph requesting details of automated systems...

Such an explanation must include specific details of the systems used, the program logic by which decisions are made, and the specific preset criteria for decision making.[/Quote]

Thanks Seminole.:)
