It's actually quite difficult to get Princes Trust funding.

Although, if you can/do they do have excellent business advice that you may not have thought of.

A friend of mine started a small company making microphones for drum kits (aimed at the 'lower' end of the market - pub/club bands, home recording etc...) and they told him that his product was 'too cheap' and made him put the price up by about £10.

He didn't agree, so started a 'budget model' which was basically the exact same thing with a different connector on the end.

The £10 extra model outsold the 'budget' by about 10 to 1!!!

I can't see it happening really.

I think our best bet is to keep selling the lawpacks (which are selling quite well) - but we have to sell quite a lot to make any money on them - the profit margin is very slim in an effort to make them as cheap as possible for forum members.

How about a lottery syndicate on the site - half the proceeds to BAG. Surely with 20,000 members at £1 each we must be able to devise some system or other that would give a good chance of winning!

Spend the rest on a BAG party (Lueeze is organising one as I type)!

It's not that bad an idea - yesterday I was given 2 free rounds at a local golf course and 2 free baskets of balls in the driving range for doing someone a favour.

BF suggested that I raffle it off in here :-)
