Hiya just a quick question, I am doing all the paperwork for a claim for a friend who works away alot so he thought it would be easier. I am just starting it out and have done the DPA letter what I want to know is can I get around the signiture the it needs on the letter(as he is away at the mo and wanted to get this going asap), for instance can I sign it on his behalf, if so how do I go about that?

What something Just like a small letter of some sort saying I authorise XXXXXXX to act on my behalf dealing with the issue of charges on my bank account, then his signature??

Does that sound ok or should it have a bit more detail in it.
